Return Policy
7-Day Approval Period
You have 7 days from the date your guitar arrives to make sure it’s the right fit for you. If for any reason you’d like to return it, just contact us within that window.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return, the guitar must be in the same condition as received—no signs of wear, modifications, or damage. All included items (case, tools, accessories, paperwork) must be returned as well.
Shipping for Returns
Customers are responsible for return shipping and full-value insurance unless the return is due to an error on our end. Please pack the guitar carefully using the original packaging whenever possible.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the guitar, we’ll issue a refund minus a 15% restocking fee to cover setup time and resale preparation.
Warranty Policy
All Mar-Mar guitars include a lifetime warranty for the original owner covering craftsmanship and structural defects.
What’s Covered
- Structural or craftsmanship issues with the neck, body, or joints
- Truss rod failure not caused by misuse
- Fretwork or finish defects originating in our shop
- Electronics issues within the first 12 months
What’s Not Covered
- Damage from improper humidity or temperature
- Normal wear such as fret wear, finish marks, or hardware aging
- Damage from accidents, drops, or modifications
- Issues caused by improper maintenance or unauthorized repairs
- Natural setup changes over time due to climate or string choices
Warranty Repairs
If a repair is covered under warranty, our labor is free. Customers are responsible for shipping both ways unless otherwise agreed. Non-warranty work will be quoted before any repairs begin.
Setup & Adjustments
Every Mar-Mar guitar ships with a professional setup. We also offer one complimentary setup within 12 months (customer covers shipping). Additional setups are available at standard shop rates.
Care Requirements
To keep your warranty valid, please:
- Maintain 40–60% humidity
- Store your guitar safely when not in use
- Use proper tools for adjustments
- Avoid unauthorized repairs or modifications
Proof of Purchase
Warranty coverage applies only to the original owner and requires proof of purchase from Mar-Mar Guitars or an authorized seller.
